2007 RETAIL DAMASCUS PRICES

DESCRIPTION: Zowada damascus steel is a mixture of 75%
O-1 tool steel and 25% L-6 Tool steel. The combination of two tool steels yields a high carbon damascus having a uniform carbon content of 0.85%. This steel will harden to 64 HRC in oil and is especially well suited for salt bath martempering.

Only new steel is utilized in this laminate, no used or scrap materials are used. All materials are purchased from Carpenter Steel as DeCarb-Free bar stock.

A black/silver contrast is easily achieved with proper etching. All material is supplied spherodize annealed.

SURFACE FINISH: Hot rolled. It will clean up to the nominal sizes listed. Blanchard and surface grinding are available.

DELIVERY: Within 14 days standard.

Meteorite and Meteorite Damascus

I have a supply of meteorite for sale. I can also weld this in to the damascus mix.
I usually use a combination of 85% O-1 tool sattl and 15% meteorite.

The raw meteorite is $100.00/lb.

MOKUME

This material is made from copper, and nickel sliver to an achive a bold and distinguishing pattern.

Mike Sakmar does the fusing and the patterining. I do the forging and the twisting.

All bars are machine fhinshed on all six sides.
