Knives I have for sale, to the general public, will be posted here. Since I have such a large waiting list, I will offer speculation knives to those on my current waiting list first. Since some of those on the list have been waiting for over thirteen years, I feel that I owe them first chance at anything I make on a speculation basis. Then, after a couple days, I will offer them here.

500 Pound Anvil

This is a Euroanvils European style blacksmith's anvil. The weight is 500 pounds. It is in excellent used condition. The face is flat, the edges are good, without any chips or dings.

When I bought it new in 2003, I thought the "bick" on the side would be handy for ornamental work. I was right. What I hadn't considered was that it would get in the way for forging knives, the way I prefer to do it.

The only reason I'm selling it is I am getting a #300 Peter Wright from a friend. Believe me, if you try an anvil over 300 lbs, you will never want to go back to a small anvil.
